The chamber was pleased to host our annual wine and cheese awards night to honor some of our communities excellent businesses and volunteers. The evening was a great success beginning with chamber board members handing out awards to the recipients, followed by a wine and cheese social where all in attendance could socialize and network.

As part of this years annual wine and cheese award night, Diane Pearson (chamber president) revealed the new 'FHCC Tree of Life' that was sponsored by KL Gold. The Tree of Life was constructed for honoring all businesses and individuals that have greatly donated to the Floyd Hembruff Civic Center's building fund. All donators will have small placards with their names placed on the tree. Representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture Society, Curling Club and Township of BRM were honored to receive this gift. KL Gold representative could sadly not attend to present.

In partnership with the Matheson Curling Club and the Agriculture Society, the Chamber was pleased to host an evening of elegance with a formal black tie event to raise funds for the Floyd Hembruff Civic Center's building fund. This well received evening was attended by local and surrounding communities, to everyone's enjoyment. A silent auction during the evening was presented with donated offerings of all kinds from local businesses and individuals. All items were presented to the winners throughout the evening. The evening also provided a succulent 5 course meal by Bryan Robinson catering. The evening was capped off with a reception time with live music provided by Grynstone that everyone enjoyed.
The Chamber would like to thank all in attendance, volunteers, donators, and suppliers to this worthy cause.
